"Peace begins with a smile." — Mother Teresa
For Claudia, yoga is the inner journey of expanding self-awareness, inner growth, personal transformation, and most of all inner peace. If you ask her why she practices yoga, she will tell you that she likes the warm, fuzzy feeling in her heart after her practice. She believes that yoga unites, brings you home, makes you feel whole, and puts a big smile in your heart.
Claudia teaches well sequenced Vinyasa flow classes that will progressively allow your body to go deeper into a pose. Utilizing your breath and trusting your inner guidance, you can expect to build strength and stamina as you soften your body and release tension. With an eye on proper alignment, she always invites you to listen to your own body and to find your edge.
Additionally, after discovering the powerful and healing impact of Restorative Yoga, Claudia completed her Level 1 and 2 Restorative Yoga training with Ann Saffi-Biasetti. Deeply humbled by the practice of “being and receiving” she offers Restorative Yoga classes, as well as private Restorative and Reiki sessions. Her Restorative classes are a time to completely relax, to feel nurtured, profoundly grounded, and deeply connected to one’s s/Self.
Claudia is a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance. She received her Bhakti Yoga Teacher Training from Gopi Kinnicutt in January 2014.
